Last year, we started working for an international marketing agency. One of the main reasons they chose us is because they understood that quick-and-dirty development on Wordpress had become a nightmare for their business, and they wanted to invest in bespoke development.

We have just wrapped up our fourth year of operations, running our specialised Ruby on Rails & Angular development agency, and we wanted to share the things we've learnt in the last year in this post.

It's that time of the year again. We have recently concluded our third year at MarsBased, and we want to share with you what we have learnt in the last 12 months running our fully-remote Ruby on Rails & JavaScript development consultancy.

Time flies! It feels almost like yesterday, but it was actually three years ago when we started operating this humble company.

During the past year, 2016, we were involved in a lot of interesting initiatives: over a dozen different development & design projects, growing Startup Grind BCN to over 120 people per event, hiring two more people, working on internal projects (check our last post about our frontend framework called MarsMan) and many more.
